Is it normal to have a heightened sex drive while sick?

ever since I can remember, every time I get sick (cold, flu, etc) my sex drive is through the roof! The only problem is that well...I'm sick and my boyfriend doesn't want to touch me (very thankful for toys!). I'm just wondering if this is normal, or if I'm just strange...does anyone else have this problem?
